  Friends of Long Island Camp (FOLIC) – 2 Year Term Closing Date – Sept 5th, 2022 

Dear FOLIC Member,   We are seeking nominations for the two above noted positions which are up for re-election on October 2nd, 2022. The President and Secretary positions are officer level, and eligible to be filled by a “Full FOLIC Member” (current or retired employee of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police).   If you are interested in running for either of these positions, please send before Sept 5th , 2022 your nomination via e-mail to vicepresident@folic.ca or a written letter to:   FOLIC Camp Manager 415 Nicolls Island Rd. P O Box 17 Manotick, Ont. K4M 1A2  

A nomination may be made  at the meeting, providing that the candidate is present to accept or the nominator presents a signed and witnessed letter by the candidate indicating they are willing to serve. Elections will immediately follow the Annual General Meeting, scheduled for October 2nd, 2022 at 10 am at the camp in Wood Hall All members are invited to attend.   —————————–

Amis du Camp Long Island (ACLI) – mandat de 2 ans Date de fermeture – 5 sept 2022   Cher Membre ACLI,   Nous recherchons des candidatures pour les postes mentionnés ci-dessus pour la réélection du 2 Octobre 2022. Les postes de président(e) et secretaire sont de niveau d’officier, éligible à être rempli par un “Membre ACLI Complet” (employé actuel ou retraité de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada).   Si vous êtes intéressés à concourir pour un de ces positions, s’il vous plaît envoyez, avant le 5 sept 2022 votre candidature par courriel à vicepresident@folic.ca ou dans une lettre à   FOLIC Camp Manager 415 Nicolls Island Rd. Un nom peut être soumis à la réunion, à condition que la personne nommée soit présente pour accepter la nomination ou une lettre signée par le candidat et un témoin est fournie. Les élections suivra l’assemblée générale annuelle, prévue pour le 2 octobre 2022, à 10:00 dans la salle Wood Hall au camp. Tous les membres sont invités à être présent.
